Public Roadmap

Share your product roadmap with users and keep them informed about what's coming next.

Public Roadmap

A public roadmap shows users you're listening and building. It creates transparency and builds trust with your community.

Setting Up Your Roadmap

Your roadmap automatically syncs with your feedback boards. When you update a post's status to Planned or In Progress, it appears on your roadmap.

Roadmap Columns

The default roadmap view includes:

ColumnDescription
PlannedFeatures approved for development
In ProgressCurrently being worked on
CompletedRecently shipped features

You can customize these columns in your workspace settings.

Roadmap Views

Kanban View

The default view shows a drag-and-drop kanban board. Move items between columns as they progress.

Timeline View

For longer-term planning, switch to timeline view to see features organized by quarter or month.

Linking to Feedback

Each roadmap item links back to the original feedback post. Users can:

  • See the full discussion
  • Add their own comments
  • Follow updates

Privacy Options

Control who can see your roadmap:

  • Public — Anyone can view
  • Authenticated — Only logged-in users
  • Private — Only team members

Best Practices

Keep your roadmap focused on the next 1-3 months. Long-term roadmaps create expectations that are hard to meet.

  • Update statuses regularly
  • Add expected timelines when possible
  • Communicate delays proactively
