Roadmap

Multiple Roadmaps

Create separate roadmaps for different products or audiences.

Multiple Roadmaps

You can create multiple roadmaps for different purposes. Each roadmap has its own URL and can show different items.

When to Use Multiple Roadmaps

Multiple Products

If you have several products, create a roadmap for each:

  • /roadmap/mobile-app
  • /roadmap/web-platform
  • /roadmap/api

Different Audiences

Create roadmaps for different user segments:

  • /roadmap/enterprise — Enterprise features
  • /roadmap/community — Public/free features

Different Timeframes

Some teams separate by timeline:

  • /roadmap/now — Current quarter
  • /roadmap/next — Next quarter
  • /roadmap/later — Future ideas

Creating a Roadmap

  1. Go to Roadmap in your admin dashboard
  2. Click New Roadmap in the sidebar
  3. Enter a name (e.g., "Mobile App")
  4. Enter a slug (e.g., "mobile-app")
  5. Set visibility (public or private)
  6. Click Create

Managing Roadmaps

Rename or Edit

Click the roadmap name in the sidebar to edit:

  • Name
  • Slug (URL)
  • Description
  • Visibility

Reorder Roadmaps

Drag roadmaps in the sidebar to reorder. The first roadmap is shown by default at /roadmap.

Delete a Roadmap

  1. Open the roadmap settings
  2. Click Delete Roadmap
  3. Posts are not deleted — just removed from this roadmap

Adding Items to Specific Roadmaps

When you have multiple roadmaps, you choose which ones a post appears on:

  1. Open the post
  2. Click Add to Roadmap
  3. Check the roadmaps where it should appear

A post can appear on:

  • No roadmaps
  • One roadmap
  • Multiple roadmaps

Default Roadmap

The first roadmap in your list is the default. When users visit /roadmap, they see this one.

To change the default:

  1. Go to Roadmap in admin
  2. Drag a different roadmap to the top

Public vs Private Roadmaps

Public Roadmaps

  • Visible to anyone
  • Linked from your portal
  • Shareable URL

Private Roadmaps

  • Only visible to team members
  • Useful for internal planning
  • Not shown on public portal

Roadmap Navigation

When you have multiple roadmaps, users see tabs to switch between them:

[Mobile App] [Web Platform] [API]

They can browse all your public roadmaps from one page.
