Getting Started
Your First Feedback Board
Create a board to start collecting feedback from your users.
Your First Feedback Board
A board is where feedback lives. Users submit ideas to a board, vote on posts, and discuss features. Most teams start with one board and add more as needed.
Create a Board
- From your dashboard, click Boards in the sidebar
- Click New Board
- Enter a name for your board (e.g., "Feature Requests", "Product Feedback", or "Ideas")
- Add an optional description to help users understand what to submit
- Choose visibility:
- Public — Anyone can view (recommended for most teams)
- Private — Only team members can view
- Click Create Board
Your Board is Ready
Your board now appears on your public portal. Users can:
- Browse existing feedback
- Submit new ideas
- Vote on posts they care about
- Comment and discuss
Default Statuses
Every board comes with default statuses to track feedback through your workflow:
| Status | Category | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Open | Active | New feedback awaiting review |
| Under Review | Active | Being evaluated by your team |
| Planned | Active | Approved and on your roadmap |
| In Progress | Active | Currently being built |
| Complete | Complete | Shipped! |
| Closed | Closed | Won't be implemented |
You can customize these statuses to match your workflow.
When to Create Multiple Boards
Consider multiple boards when you have:
- Multiple products — One board per product
- Different feedback types — Separate boards for features vs bugs
- Different audiences — Internal vs external feedback
Most teams start with one board and split later if needed.
