Sharing With Users

Get your feedback portal in front of your users.

Sharing With Users

Once your board is set up, it's time to get feedback from real users. Here are the best ways to share your portal.

Your Portal URL

Your feedback portal is available at:

https://[your-slug].quackback.io

Share this link anywhere your users are — in your app, on your website, or in emails.

Ways to Share

Add a "Feedback" or "Feature Requests" link in your app's navigation or help menu. This is the most effective way to collect feedback since users are already engaged with your product.

Common placements:

  • Help menu or dropdown
  • Settings page
  • Footer navigation
  • "What's New" or changelog section

Add a link to your feedback portal from:

  • Your marketing site footer
  • A dedicated "Roadmap" or "Feedback" page
  • Your documentation or help center

Share in Communications

Include your portal link in:

  • Onboarding emails
  • Newsletter updates
  • Support responses ("We've logged this as a feature request!")
  • Release announcements

What Users See

When users visit your portal, they can:

  1. Browse feedback — See what others have requested
  2. Vote — Upvote ideas they care about
  3. Submit — Add their own feature requests
  4. Comment — Discuss and add context to posts
  5. View roadmap — See what you're building

User Authentication

By default, users need to sign in to vote or submit feedback. They can sign in with:

  • Email (magic link)
  • Google
  • GitHub

You can customize authentication options in Portal Settings.

Custom Domain

For a more branded experience, set up a custom domain like feedback.yourcompany.com. See Custom Domains for setup instructions.
